Southeast Texas Forensic Center, Inc. proudly opened a 7000 square foot facility located at 11980 Hwy 155 North, Tyler, Texas (Smith County) in July 2004. This facility contains a 20 x 30 cooler, which will easily house in excess of 20 bodies at a time. In the event of a disaster this cooler would hold up to 40 bodies. This facility is designed in a secure manner to maintain the integrity of all evidence and property. All bodies will only be released under the direct supervision and attendance of an employee of Southeast Texas Forensic Center. This facility is staffed seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

In addition to Smith County we have added fourteen other counties within East Texas that we are currently serving since our opening in July 2004. We are currently in negotiation with several other East Texas Counties.
